Knott’s is one of our favorite places for family fun, and now that summer is here, we can’t wait to explore the revamped Camp Snoopy and celebrate it’s 30th birthday (especially since Cameron is finally tall enough for most of the rides)! They’re opening 3 new rides for the little guys, and we’re lucky enough to share a little sneak peek with you.
First is Charlie Brown’s Kite Flyer, a soaring swing ride around a kite-eating tree (where Charlie Brown has found himself tangled in kite strings and stuck)! This ride has a height requirement of 42 inches (unless the rider is accompanied by an adult).
The Linus Launcher takes riders for a belly-down whirl 10 feet into the air on Linus’ blanket. This one has a 42″ height requirement (it’s intense!).
Finally, Pig Pen’s Mud Buggies is a bumpy, bouncy adventure in an all-terrain vehicle (with all the muddiness you’d expect with Pig Pen looking on). Riders must be 36″ or taller OR accompanied by a responsible companion.
In addition to the revamp of Camp Snoopy, we get to enjoy the reopening of the classic Calico Mine Co. ride! It’s always been a favorite of mine (especially at Halloween Haunt!), and I’m looking forward to giving it a spin now that it’s back and better than ever!
Like I said, we’re so excited to play and explore! We can’t wait to share our adventures with you, so make sure to follow our adventure on Instagram and Twitter with the hashtag #KnottsSummer.
